Following The General Contractor

This was my first time working with Hanson Fine Building, and it was a pleasure getting this project done with them. They renovated 2 bathrooms, repaired broken plaster crown molding, added pocket doors, and did several other things to this 2,700 sq ft house built in 1915. It was also nice that I knew the owners personally, and they brought me in to this project. I know that you'll read this some day, so I publicly thank you!

I do not have any "before" photos of this project, because other trades were all over this house while we were painting it. So, you'll just have to trust me that we did an incredible amount of work to get this house looking the way is does now. We painted absolutely everything, including all of the historic wood windows.

There are 3 children in this family, and they have the 3rd floor of this house. From left to right, they used Light French Gray, Resolute Blue, and Wall Street. All of these are great colors that I use often.

The 2nd floor of this house was like a suite for the parents. They used Cotton White in their primary bedroom. The 2nd bedroom on the 2nd floor has Creamy on the walls and Rockwood Blue Green on the trim.

The new primary bathroom was difficult to photograph, because it was not completely finished when I was done. It was mostly tile, but the woodwork got Vogue Green. Next to that image is their den/TV room. We took a sample to match the existing color, so I top not have that one. We used a matte finish on the ceiling and walls. Then made the same color in semi-gloss for the trim and door to give it a pop.

We used Alabaster, another common neutral, in all of the hallways and stairwells in this 3 story house. The kitchen got Rosemary, dining room was another exiting match.

There are 3 other rooms is this house that we painted, but I wanted to spare you, my friend, of have the living room in its current state on my website. The other bathrooms were too difficult to photograph with my iPhone. Maybe one of these days I'll use my nice DSLR for these photos.
