In February of 2020, this homeowners and I planned for us to start this work on April 1 while they were in Australia for the month. Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit the US and all construction work was halted by the state government. At the same time, the owners were sent back home. Fortunately, they had another place to stay when construction opened back up on May 1.
This house is over 100 years old and had not been painted for 30 years. Plaster was cracking everywhere, there were issues from past water damage, paint was peeling off of the crown molding, and it was in dire need of a facelift. Following are the photos of the finished product.
