It took about 30 years for this couple to decide to paint their kitchen, and it was a difficult one. It looked rather straightforward when we started, but it took a washing with TSP, 3 different primers, and 3 coats of paint to get it right. There was just so much old grease on the surfaces, that it took a great effort to cover it all.
We also removed the paper from the built-in shelving, repaired the walls, and painted. The walls here are painted with Vanillin.
The dining room was a different story and something that we rarely do. We can remove paper, repair walls, stain wood, and paint as usual all day long. The rarity is the wallpaper hanging. This is something that I hesitate to share here, because it is not within the regular repertoire or something that I want to advertise. However, it went very well and looks great! The walls are painted with Jersey Cream.
